Daniel Kidera joined the OB-C Group in October 2015 after a career in both the public and private sectors. 

Most recently, Mr. Kidera served as Legislative Counsel for Everytown for Gun Safety, a not-for-profit advocacy group working to end gun violence. In this position, Mr.Kidera helped to set and coordinate the federal legislative affairs agenda for Everytown, working closely with members of Congress and their staffs on developing legislation that could reduce or prevent gun violence. 

Prior to joining Everytown for Gun Safety, Mr. Kidera served in the Obama Administration, working as the Director of the Secretary's Briefing Book at the Department of Homeland Security. There, Mr. Kidera worked for Secretaries Janet Napolitano and Jeh Johnson.

Mr. Kidera has nearly a decade of experience working in Washington, where he began his career as the Director of Scheduling for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, a member of Democratic Leadership. During Mr. Kidera's time with Senator Schumer, the Senator was the most successful Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's history and brought Democrats from a 5 seat minority to a 10 seat supermajority. In his position with Senator Schumer, Mr. Kidera worked closely on coordinating the Senator's official, political, and leadership responsibilities. 

Mr. Kidera has also worked in the private sector, working at Yahoo! Inc. where he served as a Public Policy Specialist. There, he specialized in matters before the House and Senate Judiciary committee, including antitrust and human rights, as well as issues related to small business. 

Mr. Kidera is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a double major in Economics and Business Law. He also has a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. 

He lives in Washington, DC with his wife Lauren and their dog Cece.
